learn and improve their design using sustainable floristry methods.

Floral Workshops

Our floral workshops offer escapism whilst gaining confidence in creativity.

Set in the heart of Ironbridge, a world heritage site, where there are many wonderful museums and places to visit, stay and eat.

Join us for a relaxed, fun get together with friends or a well deserved treat for yourself.

Our workshops are designed to be the perfect escape whilst learning a new skill in the heart of a stunning world heritage site, Ironbridge, Shropshire.

All workshops are suitable for complete beginners.

Nettie's ethos is to always try to provide alternative natural materials and when in season are locally sourced and wildly unique.

Bespoke Workshops

We can offer hen, birthday, baby shower and corporate workshops for up to 8 people here in the studio per session.

Cancellations & Refunds

A minimum number of participants per session will be required for the workshop to go ahead. Please note: Our workshops and classes are non-refundable as all materials would be allocated to your booking.

Floristry Classes

Sustainable floristry

Nettie of the Gorge promotes sustainable floristry, by way of using degradable or reusable mechanics, natural materials and sourcing local seasonal flowers whenever available.

A full range of classes will be available for 2025, so if you are looking to start your flower journey, new to the flower industry or traditionally trained then these courses will be ideal for you.

1:1 Workshops

If you would like to spend some quality time at the studio to learn more about flowers, design, focus on technique and sustainable methods then you can book a 1:1 session.

Please get in touch and a workshop can be tailored to you.

Location & Parking

There is a small car park on Waterloo Street, TF8 7HG (2 min walk).

A larger car park is also available at Station Yard, TF8 7JP (5 min walk) across the famous Iron Bridge. Both are pay and display. There are also other car parks in and around Ironbridge.

Please get in touch if you want to take the opportunity and stay in Ironbridge overnight for useful information regarding local accommodation and places to visit.
